These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the LAW32 platform (“LAW32”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of the service

LAW32 is a digital platform that helps users find and contact legal practitioners in Zambia. LAW32 itself is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. Any legal services are provided directly by the individual lawyers or law firms listed on the platform.

2. No automatic lawyer–client relationship

Using LAW32, viewing lawyer profiles or sending initial enquiries through the platform does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship with us or with any listed lawyer. A lawyer–client relationship is only formed when you formally engage a lawyer and they confirm their acceptance of instructions, usually through a separate engagement letter or agreement.

3. Your account and information

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete, and you agree to update it if it changes.

4. Lawyer profiles and content

Lawyer profiles and related information are primarily provided by the lawyers themselves. While we may perform basic checks or moderation, LAW32 does not guarantee that any profile is complete, accurate or up to date. You are encouraged to carry out your own due diligence before instructing a lawyer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data;
• Scrape, harvest or copy large portions of the platform without permission;
• Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, offensive or infringes third-party rights.

6. Fees and payments

Where applicable, legal fees are agreed directly between you and the lawyer you instruct. LAW32 is not a party to those fee arrangements unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAW32 is not liable for any loss, damage or claim arising from:

• Your reliance on information found on the platform;
• Any act or omission of a lawyer or third party you connect with through LAW32;
• Any interruption, error or unavailability of the website.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website and will apply from the date it is published. Your continued use of LAW32 after that date will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
